We’ve designed ClearTEQ to give you the best experience by keeping everything transparent – with no additional or hidden fees. Our contracts are one-year terms. While we’re certain you’ll love working with us, there is no penalty or cancellation fee if you choose to end your annual contract and give us 60 days notice before the next renewal date.

What country and currencies are supported?

What equipment do I need to run ClearTEQ POS?

ClearTEQ POS works everywhere you do business – all you need is an internet connection and a browser. Use your own computer or tablet (we recommend a 10” screen or larger) or purchase our quick start bundle to get going right away. ClearTEQ POS works with almost every Windows, Mac, iOS or Android device. We’ll supply the web compatible receipt printer and secure pin pad. Aside from these, we’re happy to help with any other existing equipment you have. No need to replace the barcode scanner or cash drawer from your old system. For the best experience, we recommend choosing from our certified hardware and browser compatibility list.

Is ClearTEQ POS just for the checkout? What about my back office?

ClearTEQ POS does more than just help you provide great service at the till. As an all-in-one system, the features you need for your shop are included: intuitive till design, advanced product and inventory management, real-time reporting, much more!

Can I monitor ClearTEQ from any device 24/7?

Absolutely. All you need is an internet connection to securely login to ClearTEQ. Access your store’s POS and back office from home, on-the-go, out-of-town, or even at the beach.

I have more than one till. Can I still use ClearTEQ POS?

Absolutely! You can have as many devices connected to ClearTEQ POS as you like. Use your own laptop or tablet in the back office or at home while other staff serve customers. If business is booming, or you have seasonal or pop-up store, just order another pin pad and we’ll get you up and running with another till right away. Receipts print to a shared printer or are emailed to the customer.

I have an existing payment processor. Do I have to use ClearTEQ Merchant Services with ClearTEQ POS?

ClearTEQ is cloud based, how safe is my data?

ClearTEQ is securely hosted with a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the highest level of assessment available – ensuring that your data is safe and that you’re always open for business. No need to manage your own data backups, just login and maintain good internet habits like not opening email links, sharing passwords or using the same passwords on multiple sites.

Does ClearTEQ buy and/or sell client data?

No. We respect our customers and do not buy or sell client data.

Can I use ClearTEQ Merchant Services it own?

Yes, ClearTEQ Merchant Services is available as a stand-alone payment processor, or fully integrated with ClearTEQ POS.

Do I need to change banks?

We are happy to work with your preferred banking partner – no need to change banks.

Can somebody set up my store for me?

ClearTEQ is designed to be simple and easy to use. Once signed-up, our team will set up your secure ClearTEQ account and guide you through connecting the required hardware. Use our easy import method to upload your products, and you’ll will be ready to serve customers and accept payments in no time.

Is there a limit to the number of products I can add?

There is no limit to the number of products you can have. ClearTEQ’s real-time inventory management system updates every time you make a sale or receive an order. With ClearTEQ, there are no limits to your growth.
